Job summary

i3 is seeking a creative and driven Infrastructure Manager to lead a cross-functional team of systems administrators and network engineers in Huntsville, AL. Focus is on designing and maintaining the in-house network that supports an Army network, ensuring stability, integrity, and efficiency of IT systems.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, Cisco networking, and RMF/DISA STIGs, plus strong communication and mentorship skills to guide staff and users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, IT, CS, or related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret clearance required.
• Prior experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, PowerShell, and RMF/STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and leads a team of Systems Administrators.
• Provide technical expertise supporting information system components and security requirements.
• Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users.
• Configure IT infrastructure per best practices and DISA STIGs.
• Maintain server and system security for RMF accreditation.
• Coordinate OS, middleware, and database patching; mentor junior staff.
