Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ, seeks an Infrastructure Security Engineer on the Identity Governance and Administration team to design and build secure identity platforms, automate lifecycle of identities and access, and partner with engineers and product owners.

This role requires strong problem solving, collaboration, and agile practices, with hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Python, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing software applications with a primary focus on Java (Spring) and some Python experience.
• Strong background in Java development, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, and building scalable enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and application development.
• Experience building cloud-based applications on AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of database architecture and cloud storage solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Identity Governance and Administration product owner and tech lead to implement the product vision and strategy.
• Identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and research solutions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities within a results-driven team environment.
