Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. invites a Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer to join Security Services Data Protection. You will partner with stakeholders to enhance database security, design security features, and deliver robust solutions across products and platforms.

You’ll apply AWS/Azure/Windows/Linux knowledge, Python, SQL, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform while driving DevSecOps practices and continuous learning in a collaborative, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
• Ability to mentor others with minimal guidance and leverage diverse ideas.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes for sound decisions.
• Ability to learn new skills continuously.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• Advanced experience with IBM Guardium / Imperva DAM and Vulnerability Assessment (VA).
• Experience with distributed systems across OS and databases, cloud and on-premises.

Responsibilities

• Create, code and support automation for infrastructure and security components.
• Provide services to software development teams for database infrastructure monitoring solutions.
• Ensure product security throughout the lifecycle and integrate new features.
• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads on design and stories.
• Automate unit and integration tests; advance value through automation.
• Document solutions to support adoption and provide standards across platforms.
• Coach team members and promote learning and innovation.
• Handle complex problems with analysis of intangible variables.
