Job summary

Meta is seeking Data Center Network Engineers to design, build, and operate our worldwide Data Center network. You will own the lifecycle from planning and QA to deployment and monitoring, delivering scalable, reliable network software, systems, and tooling.

You will collaborate with software, tooling, planning, simulation, and delivery teams, participate in on-call 24x7 support, and influence network architecture decisions across multiple vendors and global sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, CE or equivalent
8+ years designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks
Experience with BGP/IS-IS/OSPF/MPLS and related protocols
Experience with multi-vendor network hardware and automation tooling

Responsibilities

Design network topologies for Data Center Fabric networks
Develop IP addressing and routing policy for the DC
Create deployment packages and maintain as-built docs
Define and implement scalable network solutions with vendors and internal teams
Collaborate with software, tooling, planning and delivery teams to codify network designs
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to support the global data center network
