Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a remote, contract engagement.

You will shepherd IT projects through the full project life cycle, create and follow up on communication plans, and coordinate with IT teams and with impacted plants to identify, prioritize, and manage tasks. You will develop, present, and lead planning efforts including risks, requirements, design, documentation, training, and production delivery, while ensuring compliance and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Sheppard projects, IT co-workers & clients through IT project life cycle
• Create and follow up on communication plans for each project
• Coordinate with the IT organization and with each impacted plant to identify, prioritize, and manage projects and technology tasks
• Develop, present, and lead project planning efforts including risks/issues, requirements definition, technical design, system documentation, user training, and production delivery while coordinating and communicating with business and technical resources
• Manage the implementation of system enhancements and new systems through the project life cycle insuring appropriate documentation and processes to ensure compliance
• Host and facilitate regular meetings with business and technical resources for status updates, requirements definition, technical design, architectural reviews, demand management, and audit review
• Maintain appropriate status reports, meeting minutes, and follow-up with business partners and technical resources
