Job summary

HNTB seeks a senior technical engineer to lead complex infrastructure projects from proposal through delivery. You will provide expert guidance, mentor staff, and ensure technical consistency across disciplines while coordinating with clients and partners.

A PE license and extensive experience with major transportation programs are preferred. Applicants should bring advanced degrees, familiarity with InRoads/OpenRoads or AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and a track record of delivering large-scale,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with significant relevant experience.
Master’s degree preferred or PhD with substantial engineering background.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

Perform independent technical reviews and provide guidance on complex projects.
Offer technical expertise and mentoring to project leadership and staff.
Assist in marketing responsibilities including proposal generation for complex projects.
Coordinate technical aspects with client leaders and teaming partners across disciplines.
Develop and advise on technical consistency across processes and projects.
Ensure standardized design practices are applied consistently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
