Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineer to lead discipline-specific design work, coordinate across multiple teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with clients to resolve design challenges.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering with several years of relevant experience; PE certification is preferred. This role involves working on infrastructure projects with a collaborative, client-focused team in Lake Mary, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• AICP certification may be required depending on discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Assist with marketing tasks, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversee accuracy of the project team’s outputs and mentor staff toward objectives.
• Coordinate technical work with client counterparts and teaming partners; liaise with other disciplines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
