Job summary

True Anomaly is hiring a Staff Infrastructure Platform Engineer to design and ship foundational cloud infrastructure used by every engineering team. You will lead cross‑cloud networking between AWS and Azure, build reusable infrastructure‑as‑code, and set scalable CI/CD standards across the enterprise.

You will mentor the first infra engineers, partner with security and IT, and drive automation and standards in a fast‑paced environment that values autonomy and high impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong background deploying and operating production apps on cloud platforms.
• Deep experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at scale.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and reusable modules (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience building modern CI/CD, testing, and deployment standards across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of foundational cloud infrastructure rolled out across the enterprise.
• Design and operate the multi‑cloud environment with guardrails and shared networking/identity.
• Own self‑service provisioning and paved‑roads deployment workflows.
• Author and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code and standards (Terraform).
• Establish scalable CI/CD, testing, and deployment standards across the enterprise.
• Build self‑service tooling and roadmaps for provisioning and operation.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers on infrastructure practices.
• Collaborate with security, IT, and engineering to meet government security requirements.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
