Job summary

Alterman Management Group, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Infrastructure to lead the technology infrastructure program across all offices and active job sites.

You will oversee a team of infrastructure professionals, directing architecture, standards, and escalations while shaping strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor relationships. You will drive disaster recovery, security, risk, and regulatory compliance, partnering with stakeholders to plan growth and multi-location deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, network engineering, systems engineering, or related technology disciplines.
• Minimum of 3+ years of infrastructure management or leadership experience.
• Cisco CCNP or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent senior-level certification required.
• Additional certifications preferred (e.g., CCIE, Azure Administrator Associate, Nutanix NCP, VMware VCP, ITIL Foundation, PMP).
• Deep familiarity with compliance frameworks required (NIST, CMMC, SOC 2).
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical infrastructure work across multiple disciplines (network, server, virtualization, cloud, storage).

Responsibilities

• Leads the Infrastructure team, including supervision, mentoring, training, performance management, and career development of direct reports.
• Sets goals, priorities, assigns work, and ensures delivery dates and quality standards.
• Recruits, develops, retains infrastructure talent, and builds succession depth.
• Manages on-call rotation, workload balance, and escalation paths for infrastructure incidents.
• Serves as senior escalation point and final technical authority when issues cannot be resolved.
• Fosters documentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
