Job summary
Alterman Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design and integrate network, cloud, and infrastructure solutions across offices and job sites.
You will bridge business needs with technology strategy, collaborating with Program Management, operations, and leaders. Responsibilities include capturing requirements, translating them into architectures, designing LAN/WAN, Azure and hybrid cloud, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery, and ensuring documentation and readiness
Qualifications
- 7+ years IT experience with 5+ years in network/cloud/infrastructure engineering
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Certifications preferred: CCNP, Meraki CMNA, VCP, TOGAF/ITIL
- Experience supporting multi-site construction or field operations
Responsibilities
- Engage with Program Management and business teams for new offices and job sites; capture requirements
- Translate objectives into technical requirements, scope, and readiness timeline
- Design LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, cloud, and security solutions for offices and sites
- Coordinate delivery with Technology teams; ensure cybersecurity standards and documentation
- Develop reference architectures and handoff packages for execution by Technology teams
- Assist in vendor evaluation and technology roadmaps
