Job summary

James Search Group is partnering with a leading global insurance carrier to hire a Senior Infrastructure Manager for their Manhattan office. This hands‑on leadership role will own the performance, resilience, and evolution of enterprise infrastructure across both on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will shape infrastructure strategy while remaining close to architecture decisions, supporting complex systems, and leading modernization across data center, cloud, and disaster recovery platforms.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
• 3–5+ years in hands‑on leadership role.
• Experience across hybrid environments (on‑prem + cloud).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of enterprise infrastructure with high availability and performance.
• Design and implement scalable solutions across on‑prem and Azure environments.
• Lead modernization initiatives including upgrades and disaster recovery enhancements.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and RCA.
• Manage data center infrastructure including virtualization, storage, backup and recovery.
