BigCommerce, a Commerce brand, is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to lead distributed infrastructure and software engineering teams. You will oversee the platform roadmap and guide the shift to cloud-native, containerized deployments at scale.

This role emphasizes collaboration with product, security, and cross-functional partners, mentoring engineers, and driving reliable, secure systems while enabling rapid software delivery. Austin or Atlanta hybrid work model.

Formación

• 8+ years infrastructure engineering experience and 5+ years software engineering including 4+ years of people management.
• Proven cloud-native and platform architecture expertise with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with databases, security, and global performance optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute the platform and infrastructure roadmap for the team.
• Lead cloud-native and containerized environments to scale globally.
• Reduce developer friction and improve build, test, deploy, and observability workflows.
• Coach and grow engineers and technical leads; manage performance and career development.
