Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an expert Infrastructure Specialist to support Windows Server, AD, VMware/Hyper-V, and Linux environments. You will handle tier-2 incidents, assist with server builds, migrations and ongoing operations from Colorado Springs, on a contract basis.

Responsibilities include monitoring, backup operations with Veeam, and collaboration with the teams on projects and environment maintenance. On-site, fast-paced role with a strong focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• Expert level in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Proficient Linux administration and backup/monitoring tooling.
• Strong ticketing, incident response, and project support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 2 infrastructure incidents and service requests.
• Administer Windows Server environments and AD services.
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualization, VM provisioning and migrations.
• Monitor alerts, investigate issues, and support backups with Veeam.
• Support Linux systems (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.
• Assist with infrastructure projects and operational improvements.
• Provide day-to-day server environment support and AD authentication troubleshooting.
