Software Placement Group is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer in Las Vegas to support high-performance engineering. You will own Azure/M365, VMware vSphere, AD/DNS/DHCP, and security across on-site systems for reliability and compliance.

The role emphasizes automation with PowerShell, cross-team collaboration, and building resilient backup and disaster recovery. A strong mix of Windows and Linux server administration completes the profile.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with VMware vSphere / ESXi.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Endpoint security and systems administration experience.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Windows and Linux server administration experience.

• Administer Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage VMware vSphere environments
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Oversee network infrastructure, firewalls, and security
• Handle endpoint management and security
• Build PowerShell automation and drive process improvement
• Support Dev/Test environments for software development teams
• Manage infrastructure monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
