Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in a technical engineering role.
• Technical engineering experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with storage and backup platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of IT technologies including endpoint devices, servers, security, network, storage, and telecom.
• Experience participating in process improvement or project work.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret business drivers.
• Project management and process excellence with a strong analytical, data-driven approach to problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment.
• Ability to drive people, process, and technology changes.
• Ability to explain complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of regulatory and contractual compliance beneficial.
• Experience leading large, complex projects across multiple functional departments beneficial.
• Experience in a complex healthcare organization beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, optimize, and manage the lifecycle of enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Modernize enterprise storage and backup platforms.
• Perform platform engineering, lifecycle management, capacity planning, monitoring, and resilience activities.
• Develop infrastructure standards and contribute to strategic planning and roadmaps.
• Provide technical direction, oversight, and escalation support to operational support teams.
• Coordinate with infrastructure architects, engineers, enterprise architects, application teams, operations teams, and vendor partners.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal customers and third-party vendors.
• Support ITIL processes including change, release, capacity, and other IT service management.
• Analyze, plan, justify, schedule, and coordinate initiatives across admin, operations, and finance.
• Manage TCO, optimization, and efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee supplier reporting metrics, dashboards, and status reporting.
• Plan, monitor, and control operating and capital budgets.
• Perform duties with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
