Flexion seeks a senior Software Engineer to join its experienced infrastructure team in San Francisco or Zurich. You will architect and build platforms, tooling, and infrastructure powering Flexion’s AI stack, owning projects end-to-end from design to rollout and long-term ownership.

You will collaborate with research, robotics, and deployment teams to create reliable platforms, APIs and SDKs for real-world robot deployments, scale, and customer use.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience owning production software projects end-to-end and influencing technical decisions across teams.
• Strong Python and at least one compiled language (C++, Go, Rust) experience.
• Strong software architecture skills with modular, testable systems.
• Experience building and operating production backend systems: APIs, cloud infrastructure and databases.
• Solid engineering practices: Git/GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, code review.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode).

Responsabilidades

• Build tooling and platforms for a growing fleet of robots and deployments, including APIs and SDKs for customers.
• Lead end-to-end projects from scoping to ownership.
• Shape technical direction through reviews and architecture decisions across teams.
• Collaborate with research, robotics, and deployment teams to translate needs into reliable platforms.
• Improve engineering practices, testing, documentation and system reliability.
• Contribute to AI development tooling and practices across the company.
