Job summary

NUABLE is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in San Francisco to own the infrastructure strategy and drive deployment of secure, multi-cloud solutions for enterprise AI workloads.

You will design and implement highly available, multi-region cloud infrastructure, support BYOC and on-premise deployments, and shape the architectural direction from day one. The role demands deep experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, IaC tooling, and security/compliance practices.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Backend Engineering.
• Deep expertise across AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience designing highly available distributed systems.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs, load balancing, DNS and service mesh technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Experience supporting enterprise deployments, including self-hosted or customer-managed environments.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or FedRAMP.
• Experience building secure infrastructure for enterprise customers.
• A passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges and taking ownership of technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing highly available multi-region cloud infrastructure.
• Building disaster recovery and automatic failover solutions across multiple cloud providers.
• Developing enterprise deployment architectures, including self-hosted and Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) environments.
• Designing secure networking solutions, including VPC connectivity and private networking.
• Building automated provisioning systems for cloud, hybrid and on-premise deployments.
• Creating customer-facing deployment documentation and implementation guides.
• Designing secure enterprise architectures incorporating encryption, identity management and network isolation.
• Building monitoring, observability and alerting solutions for distributed systems.
• Owning the infrastructure roadmap, driving best practices and continuously improving platform reliability.
