Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior engineer to lead multi-tenant infrastructure, architect scalable systems, and drive reliability across high-traffic APIs. You will design deployment pipelines, champion secure and observable architectures, and collaborate with teams across the stack to ship robust, developer-friendly solutions.

The role requires 8+ years building production-grade systems, strong skills in Typescript or Python, and experience with Terraform, Cloudflare, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building highly available production systems.
• Knowledge of Typescript or Python, Terraform or similar, Cloudflare, and AWS infrastructure.
• An understanding of modern web and API development best practices.
• Experience building delightfully simple developer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and architect multi-tenant infrastructure serving billions of requests monthly.
• Design build and deploy systems across stack, from SDKs to apps to high-traffic APIs.
• Drive observability and ensure performance in critical parts of customers’ stacks.
• Advocate for the right technical investments as needs evolve.
