Job summary

Stripe is seeking a software engineer to contribute to its infrastructure teams, designing, building, testing, and shipping great code daily across core systems. The role spans multiple areas including compute, networking, data, admin, and developer productivity, with a focus on reliability and scale.

The ideal candidate has 2–12+ years of hands-on software development experience, proficiency in Go/Java/C/C++, and strong distributed systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Ability to write high-quality code in languages like Go, Java, C/C++ etc.
• 2–12+ years of professional hands-on software development experience.
• Hands-on experience contributing to or building large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure.
• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach with multiple customers and stakeholders across Stripe.
• Debug production issues across services and several levels of the stack.
