Job summary

Komatsu Mining Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering expertise. You will architect, implement, and operate mission-critical infrastructure supporting the Autonomous Haulage System and other mining tech, ensuring scalability, observability, and 24/7 reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Experience managing on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructure (VMware, KVM).
• Strong networking, security, and Linux system knowledge.
• Familiar with SRE concepts: SLIs, SLOs, incident management, error budgets.
• Experience mentoring or leading an engineering team.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical leader across multiple infrastructure and DevOps domains.
• Develop and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Architect and maintain on-premise virtual environments with provisioning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions using IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Packer).
• Implement observability frameworks for end-to-end system visibility (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Define and monitor SRE metrics (SLIs/SLOs) to guide improvements.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for production and field systems.
• Partner with field engineers to ensure robust infrastructure at mine sites with 24/7 availability.
• Continuously improve infrastructure in field environments through automation and security best practices.
• Mentor others and balance technical leadership with business judgment.
