Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III in Jersey City to join Corporate Sector Enterprise Technology, Employee Platforms. The role focuses on external collaboration platforms, secure partner engagement, and resilient infrastructure across SaaS tools, identity controls, and cloud environments.

The engineer will design reliable solutions, integrate external services, and optimize cross‑company collaboration tools while working with security, engineering, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts with hands-on experience
• 3+ years of applied infrastructure engineering experience
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Experience implementing SSO with SAML2 or OAuth2/OIDC and secure authentication practices
• Strong knowledge of databases, storage, deployment practices, and system resilience
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations and ensure security and auditability

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope, focusing on data and systems at scale with end-to-end monitoring
• Leverages enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate monitoring, capacity analysis, and documentation while handling sensitive data
• Resolves complex issues and determines escalation paths
• Builds and decomposes technical problems, considering upstream and downstream data and systems
• Supports capacity planning and governance with application and infrastructure teams
• Makes significant decisions for multi-technology projects and drives remediation workflows
• Applies AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring capacity risks and validation of changes
