Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and run the corporate IT infrastructure across servers, storage, cloud services, domain services and enterprise applications. You will be hands‑on, lead complex projects and act as an escalation point to raise engineering standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to technology strategy, drive automation and infrastructure‑as‑code, build security into designs, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, operating and troubleshooting large VMware estates.
• Proficient in automation and DevOps tooling (Ansible, Python, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong knowledge of IT security principles and secure-by-design practices.
• Experience with cloud services, networking, storage and domain services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to mentor others.
• Familiarity with Agile or other delivery methodologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and diagnose complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain corporate infrastructure including servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Act as senior technical authority, provide guidance and mentorship.
• Contribute to technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Evaluate and adopt technologies to improve reliability and security.
• Lead infrastructure projects from design to handover.
• Own root-cause analysis and fixes for incidents.
• Build disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Collaborate with security teams to meet policy and compliance.
• Produce technical documentation and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support.
