Job summary

2K is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure, Network and Cloud Engineering to lead a distributed team responsible for datacenter and compute, global network, edge services, and cloud platforms. Based in Austin, TX, you will guide staffing, capacity planning, and incident response across on-site and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in infrastructure, network, or cloud.
• Proven incident leadership with on-call and major incident response.
• Strong written and verbal communication to executives and stakeholders.
• Ability to model capacity and staffing plans and defend them to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of network, cloud, and systems engineers.
• Own capacity planning for on-call, project delivery, KTLO and incidents.
• Translate roadmaps into staffing plans and realistic commitments.
• Run a high-standard service and operations team with humane on-call rotations and clear escalations.
• Ensure IaC, Git-based change management, peer review, and documentation are followed.
• Set transparent communication norms for a distributed team across sites.
• Partner with studio, SRE, and security teams on capacity, launch readiness, and support models.
• Own cloud spend and datacenter capacity with forecasting and optimization.
• Represent infrastructure to leadership with concise updates and risk framing.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships, including procurement and performance reviews.
