Job summary

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems and Infrastructure Engineering to lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of critical IT infrastructure supporting business objectives. This role oversees performance, automation, cloud migration, and security/compliance across global platforms.

The team focuses on end-user technology systems, VDI, XR platforms, and secure automated delivery with governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years in tech infrastructure engineering.
• 2 years supervisory experience or cross-functional leadership.
• 7 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure maintenance by managing backups, patching, and audits to ensure compliance and performance.
• Drive automation initiatives by analyzing metrics and implementing scripting solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee configuration and version control processes to maintain system integrity and seamless deployments.
• Support cloud migration efforts, including data center consolidation and hybrid environments.
• Develop scalable infrastructure designs aligned with security and disaster recovery standards.
• Manage capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and meet evolving business demands.
• Collaborate on integration management for middleware and API connectivity across platforms.
