Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems across multiple teams.

You will champion DevOps, optimize cloud costs, and guide architectural decisions to deliver scalable, secure solutions that align with the roadmap and business objectives. You will mentor engineers, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement in tooling, testing, and processes to enhance system performance and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 5 years of software engineering experience, or 7 years of experience in software engineering.
• 2 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform-level software execution across multiple teams and drive architectural direction.
• Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks for scalable, secure development.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices, testing, and code quality.
