Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking an IT Master Architect - Infrastructure Automation in Florida to lead architecture decisions and drive automated provisioning for applications. You will collaborate with architects, cyber security, operations, and engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable infrastructure outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in infrastructure engineering or architecture with hands-on experience in cloud, security, and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale infrastructure architecture across cloud, compute/servers, networking, security and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture for automated provisioning of infrastructure resources across cloud, compute, networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and operations.
• Direct design decisions with partners to meet enterprise standards and operational requirements.
• Define reusable infrastructure patterns, interfaces, and operating requirements for application-ready infra across domains.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks that cause manual tickets, handoffs, or delays.
• Make architecture decisions across IaC, orchestration, policy automation, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure automation capabilities are fully supportable and production-ready by NextEra teams.
