Job summary
JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage data center operations, ensuring high availability across servers, storage, and network systems in a 100% on-site Chantilly environment. You will lead hands-on deployments, rack installations, cabling, and capacity planning while maintaining auditable docs and SOPs.
Required TS/SCI with polygraph and 10+ years in infrastructure, plus experience with Cisco, Dell/HPE servers, and PureStorage NAS/SAN.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Current TS/SCI with agency‑specific polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
- 5+ years in mission-critical enterprise or colocation data centers
Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end data center operations for high availability
- Configure and maintain Cisco switching, routing, and security
- Administer enterprise storage (Dell/HPE/PureStorage NAS/SAN)
- Oversee rack installations, lifecycle refreshes, and power/cooling planning
- Develop architectural documentation and network topologies
- Plan capacity and optimize cabling and patching across racks
