Job summary

Hanover Park is seeking a senior infrastructure leader to own our AWS, Postgres, and deployment stack. You will set production standards, design scalable architecture, and mentor engineers as we grow our platform. You will bridge product decisions with infrastructure capabilities and own uptime, security, and performance end to end.

You will report to the CTO and drive the platform function beyond the current team, influencing build, buy, and process choices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years running production infrastructure at scale.
• Experience designing infrastructure from the ground up.
• Senior infra voice at a scaling startup setting standards.
• Experience owning Postgres in production at scale.
• Genuine software engineering ability to read, write, and debug code.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for infrastructure as we scale.
• Establish on-call practices, SLOs/SLIs, incident postmortems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across vercel and AWS.
• Design and manage AWS infrastructure and best practices.
• Own supabase/postgres infrastructure: backups, migrations, scaling.
• Maintain background job and workflow infra on trigger.dev.
• Stand up observability: logging, monitoring, alerting, tracing.
• Harden security: secrets, access control, compliance readiness.
• Write and ship application code when fixes require product changes.
• Mentor engineers and build a durable platform function.
