Job summary

ClickHouse, Inc. is hiring a Senior SRE / Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own reliability, automation, and operations as our cloud data platform scales globally. You will write code, shape architecture, and enable the team to deliver with velocity across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will lead Postgres integration reliability, design automation, and build IaC tooling. You’ll contribute Go-based tooling, drive observability, and mentor engineers while maintaining strong incident response and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE/DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Solid Postgres operations, scaling, and performance tuning.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience; exposure to GCP and Azure.
• Proficient with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container-based infra.
• Strong Go development skills or willingness to write production Go code.
• Familiar with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry or equivalents.
• Founder’s mindset—hands-on, autonomous, shipping impactful systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability and operations for ClickHouse’s Postgres integration.
• Design and implement automation for provisioning, deployments, and lifecycle management across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CI/CD tooling for consistent deployments.
• Contribute Go-based tooling that improves automation, observability, and dev experience.
• Own observability and monitoring with robust alerting, metrics, and tracing.
• Drive incident management and postmortems to strengthen reliability.
• Collaborate with platform, networking, and product teams to improve operability.
• Mentor engineers to scale with growing customer adoption.
