Qualifications

• Proven track record designing infra architecture from the ground up.
• Experience as the senior-most infra voice at a scaling startup.
• Ownership of production Postgres at scale.
• Genuine software engineering ability beyond configs and scripts.
• Established incident response practices and SLOs/SLIs.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for infrastructure architecture as we scale.
• Establish on-call practices, SLOs/SLIs, and incident postmortems from scratch.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infra across AWS and vercel.
• Design, provision and manage AWS infra with best practices for engineers.
• Own Supabase/Postgres infra: performance tuning, backups, migrations, and scaling.
• Build and maintain background job/workflow infra on trigger.dev.
• Stand up observability: logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
• Harden security: secrets management and access control.
• Write production code when fixes require product changes.
