Job summary

The Chamberlain Group LLC is seeking a senior SRE/Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure in AWS. You will lead IaC efforts with Terraform, drive GitOps workflows using Argo CD, and build an industry-leading observability platform with Datadog.

You will mentor a growing SRE/DevOps team, define reliability metrics, and collaborate with software, product, and security teams to ensure resilient, cost-aware cloud strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience in SRE, software development, or cloud architecture.
• Proven leadership or mentorship experience and strategic thinking.
• AWS certifications and Kubernetes administrator are highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to ~5%.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Lead IaC design with Terraform and automation frameworks.
• Drive GitOps with Argo CD for Kubernetes workloads.
• Build observability with Datadog and implement proactive monitoring.
• Define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs aligned with business impact and cost optimization.
• Mentor a high-performing SRE/DevOps team and collaborate with eng, product, and security.
