Moog in East Aurora, NY seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid Buffalo-based role. You will own the roadmap across Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, and infrastructure security, guiding design reviews and cross-functional delivery.

The position requires hands-on leadership with 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure, a BS in a related field, and strong automation skills (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform). Salary ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure engineering experience in global environments.
Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple domains, architecture decisions, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

Own the technical roadmap, reference architecture, engineering standards, and lifecycle strategy across Infrastructure Engineering platforms.
Set the technical direction for AD, Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, and infrastructure resiliency.
Evaluate modernization options, architecture trade-offs, security risk, and capacity impact.
Establish design reviews, architecture decision records, standards, and reusable engineering patterns.
Provide senior technical escalation support for complex, cross-platform issues and major incidents.
Coach engineers through design, troubleshooting, implementation, and transition to operations.
