Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Virtualization & Automation in Buffalo, NY. Hybrid work model with responsibilities spanning design, automation, and lifecycle management of global virtualization, server, storage, and data protection platforms.

You will drive IaC adoption (Terraform) and automation (PowerShell, Ansible) across enterprise environments while ensuring security and compliance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere and related tech).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and automation tools (PowerShell/Ansible).
• Strong security, governance, and ITIL/SAFe knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, modernization, and lifecycle management of virtualization and server infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform to standardize deployments.
• Create and implement automation using PowerShell, Ansible, and APIs.
• Collaborate with storage, network, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure security controls and compliance are embedded in infrastructure designs.
