Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead virtualization, automation, and IaC initiatives across global infrastructure. You will design, implement, and modernize enterprise platforms, driving security, reliability, and scalable operations.

The role requires strong engineering background, experience with VMware vSphere, Terraform, and automation tools, with a hybrid schedule at Buffalo/NY area and potential East Aurora, NY or Blacksburg, VA facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
Minimum of five (5) years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure in global environments.
Significant experience with enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise virtualization platforms, server infrastructure, storage systems, and backup technologies.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to standardize deployment and management.
Design and implement automation using PowerShell, Ansible, APIs, and other frameworks to reduce manual operations.
Ensure infrastructure scales to meet future business demands and supports global growth.
Collaborate with storage, network, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
