Arup is expanding its Advisory team on the West Coast and seeks a Senior Consultant for the Technical Advisory group in San Francisco. You will lead technical and financial due diligence for infrastructure projects, develop business cases, and support client engagements across energy, transport, water, and ESG-focused initiatives.

You will mentor junior staff, engage with clients, and contribute to proposal development while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil), natural science, business, or other relevant field; graduate degree preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in US infrastructure advisory/consulting.
• Strong proficiency in a technical or consulting area and client engagement.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and develop client relationships.
• Fluency in English; Spanish/Portuguese not required but a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead client-facing technical, commercial, and financial infrastructure advisory engagements.
• Perform technical due diligence covering energy demand, capital needs, and operating strategies.
• Develop and assess business cases for energy and infrastructure projects with developers and financiers.
• Support business development and pursuit of new work; mentor junior staff.
• Deliver client presentations, workshops, and data-driven analyses.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering specialists for due diligence and optimization studies.
• Prepare actionable recommendations and responses to RFPs.
