Job summary

Arup seeks a Senior Manager for its expanding Financial Advisory practice in the US. You will lead client engagements on the procurement, structuring, and financing of major infrastructure projects across transportation, energy, water, SIT and social infrastructure sectors.

You will coordinate with internal experts and external stakeholders to deliver market knowledge, robust financial analysis, and optimal procurement strategies from inception to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance required.
• 12+ years of relevant financial advisory and project management experience for infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project finance, financial modeling, financial statement analysis and risk management.
• Experience leading and managing multi‑disciplinary teams across engagements.
• Familiarity with PPP procurement and project financing structures.
• Excellent commercial, organizational, presentation, and writing skills; advanced MS Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and assessment of business cases for greenfield and brownfield projects, including P3s.
• Collaborate with developers, investors, debt providers, sponsors and government agencies; coordinate with co‑advisors and internal specialists.
• Prepare strategies and procurement documents (RFI/RFQ/RFP/PDA); develop Project Agreement and risk allocations.
• Manage multi‑disciplinary teams and advise on risk, governance and organization.
• Perform financial analysis, build financial models, assess risk and value for money.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings, presentations and workshops.
• Manage multiple engagements and deliver quality results under pressure.
• Develop and mentor mid‑level staff; identify pre‑positioning opportunities and lead proposals.
• Develop and maintain networks and client relationships.
