Job summary

Whitefish Credit Union is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Administrator to support all systems and infrastructure in Kalispell or Missoula. The role emphasizes project planning, documentation, and Tier 3 support with autonomy and cross-team collaboration.

The position requires a Bachelor's in CS/MIS, 5+ years in infrastructure, and relevant certifications (MCSA/Azure). Travel to branches is expected. A competitive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related subject.
• 5+ years related employment experience.
• Currently have (or willing to obtain within first 12 months) MCSA, Azure Administrator Associate or other equivalent certification.
• 3-5 years managing networking infrastructure lifecycle (installations, configurations, upgrades).
• 1-3 years managing Windows and Linux/Unix server systems.
• 1-3 years with Virtualization or SAN systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
• Troubleshoot system outages and performance issues supporting core services.
• Configure and install systems equipment for reliable operation.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and security policies.
• Interact with vendors and contractors to ensure SLA and project performance.
