Job summary

Whitefish Credit Union is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Administrator to lead and execute complex infrastructure projects across Kalispell or Missoula. You will provide Tier 3 support, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure reliable core services.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years experience, and relevant certifications (MCSA/Azure). On-site work with occasional after-hours support is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related subject.
• 5+ years related employment experience.
• Certifications (MCSA/Azure Administrator Associate) or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
• 3-5 years managing networking infrastructure lifecycle (install/config/upgrade/replace).
• 1-3 years managing Windows and Linux/Unix server systems.
• 1-3 years with virtualization or SAN systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Provide Tier 3 support for critical infrastructure issues.
• Maintain system documentation and diagrams (Visio).
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot servers and networking gear.
• Collaborate with vendors to meet SLAs and project goals.
• Occasionally work nights/weekends to support uptime.
