Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and implementation of infrared lens manufacturing processes in Billerica, MA. You will collaborate with design and quality teams to scale production and ensure cost effectiveness.

The role combines hands-on electro-mechanical work with process optimization, Lean and 5S principles, and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and export controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Lean/5S training and experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for infrared lens production.
• Create and update assembly and test instructions to meet standards.
• Evaluate defects with Quality to implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to Production and Quality teams.
• Apply Lean and 5S to improve efficiency.
