Job summary

AccruePartners is seeking a senior IT PMO leader to drive complex infrastructure programs, including large cloud migrations and data center exits. The role requires building detailed plans, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and managing external partners to deliver on time and within scope.

You will work with senior IT leadership to translate high‑level initiatives into executable plans, ensuring disciplined execution across Azure, on‑premises, networking, security, and platform initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project or program management experience with ownership of complex technology initiatives.
• 4+ years managing IT infrastructure programs (cloud migrations, data center exits, networking, security).
• Ability to build and own a detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
• Experience developing project plans with scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, risk, and budgets.
• Hands-on cloud migration experience (Azure preferred).
• Experience managing on‑prem infrastructure, networking, databases, or security.
• Strong vendor program management, including managed services and fixed‑scope SOW engagements.
• Ability to hold external partners accountable to deliverables, milestones, budgets, and commitments.
• Understanding of cutovers, migration planning, rollback strategies, go/no‑go criteria, and operational risk.
• Executive communication to translate technical work into business impact.
• Experience with Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet or comparable tools.
• Certifications (PMP/PgMP) or data center migration experience or Jira administration / IaC familiarity are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Plan the work and turn high‑level technical initiatives into structured executable plans.
• Lead infrastructure programs including large cloud migrations and data center exits.
• Coordinate multiple technical teams and external partners across Infrastructure, Security, Applications, Database.
• Hold vendors accountable to scope, milestones, budgets, and contractual commitments.
• Establish Work Breakdown Structure, resource planning, sequencing, and execution readiness.
• Provide clear status, risks, decisions, and business impact to executives.
• Manage progress for large-scale migrations involving hundreds of servers and applications.
