Iru in Miami is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to architect and scale AWS-based infrastructure to support rapid growth. You'll work with cross-functional teams to design robust, secure systems and drive infrastructure strategy using Terraform, AWS CDK, and Kubernetes.

This role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration, with on-site 3 days per week in Coral Gables. Strong background in cloud security and CI/CD is essential; you will influence architecture decisions and help

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure engineering
• Experience with AWS cloud-native architectures
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD tooling and processes, security-focused design

Responsibilities

• Architect & Scale: design scalable, secure AWS infrastructure to support Iru's growing platform
• Infrastructure as Code: develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK
• Automation & CI/CD: lead automated deployment pipelines to improve velocity and reliability
• Monitoring & Observability: implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Collaboration: work with engineering, security, and product teams to align initiatives with goals
• Mentorship: guide and mentor junior engineers to foster learning and improvement
