Job summary

Porsche Engineering in Atlanta is seeking a Quality Engineer for Infotainment & Connect to analyze, validate and resolve quality topics across in‑vehicle infotainment and connectivity systems. You will coordinate complaint analysis from prototype testing through field vehicles, perform root cause analysis using diagnostics, and document results for cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in automotive sciences or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive experience in quality, testing, diagnostics or field analysis.
• Expert knowledge of Infotainment & Connect systems and their interactions with vehicle networks.
• Strong knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, LIN and automotive diagnostic protocols.
• Experience analyzing development-stage findings and field complaints, with structured root-cause methods.
• Ability to communicate technical results clearly in a cross-functional, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate complaint analysis for Infotainment & Connect topics across prototype testing and customer vehicles from intake to closure.
• Monitor quality using CV activities, findings, and support inputs from various sources.
• Analyze and validate multimedia, navigation, connectivity, voice control, and related vehicle interfaces.
• Perform structured root cause analysis using diagnostics data and engineering tools.
• Reproduce complaints, define test scenarios, and validate results.
• Ensure software/hardware baselines are up to date for accurate findings.
• Document anomalies, actions, and validation status in a traceable format.
• Collaborate with customers, OEMs, Development, Quality, AfterSales and market representatives.
