Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity or IT.
• 6+ years evaluating or supporting security capabilities.
• 5+ years in security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• 5+ years on architecture, software design, networking or cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Act as a central Information Security point of contact for the Enterprise Platforms business.
• Coordinate proactive information security consulting across Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture, and User Access Management.
• Serve as an expert in Capital One’s Information Security capabilities, policies, procedures and standards.
• Influence customers to shift security left in development processes.
• Escalate and manage cyber security risk.
• Provide ad hoc support on security topics for the business.
• Provide updates to executive leadership on Information Security health and risk.
• Work with leadership to anticipate objectives and needs.
