Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System seeks a Principal Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of its information security program. This senior role blends technical depth with leadership to define governance for security practices including Azure Cloud and Office 365.

The candidate will develop metrics to measure security maturity, oversee investigations, and mitigate insider risks while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Information Sciences or Business Administration Preferred
• 8 years experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and environments
• 8 years experience with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods Required
• Experience communicating network security issues to peers and management
• Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
• Experience with SIEM, IDS, EDR, network security, vulnerability management or security hardening
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and management of the information security program
• Develop governance model for security including Azure Cloud & Office 365
• Develop and sustain metrics to measure security maturity and posture
• Conduct internal investigations including data loss and security incidents
• Identify and mitigate insider risks in infrastructure and processes and support eDiscovery operations
