Acting as a key technical authority, this individual will help define security standards, guide risk management decisions, and partner across teams to embed security into core business and technology processes. The position requires a high degree of independence and the ability to make informed decisions in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security standards and requirements across enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Design and evolve the organization’s overarching security architecture to ensure consistency and scalability
• Integrate security practices into both development and procurement processes to ensure secure delivery of technology solutions
• Conduct formal security reviews and approvals to ensure systems meet required standards before release into production
• Maintain comprehensive inventories of technology assets, including applications, infrastructure, and endpoints
• Implement, monitor, and refine security controls to protect systems, networks, and data throughout their lifecycle
• Oversee configuration management and change control processes to ensure ongoing system integrity and complianceEstablish and manage safeguards for sensitive information and critical business assets
• Work cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and business teams to address security risks and support secure operations
• Serve as a mentor and technical resource for junior team members, providing guidance and support on security best practices

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security, infrastructure security, or a related technical discipline
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management methodologies, and enterprise system architectures
• Knowledge of network fundamentals, endpoint security controls, and common security technologies
• Familiarity with secure development practices, including CI/CD processes and application security concepts
• Experience with or strong interest in emerging technologies such as AI-assisted development, large language models, and automation tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and recommend practical solutions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments with diverse infrastructure and application ecosystems
