Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior IT Project Manager with deep expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to lead the execution of multiple enterprise and product-focused initiatives. This individual will serve as the sole project manager in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing the entire lifecycle of software and system integration projects—especially those built on Microsoft technologies and .NET, using DevOps practices and the Asana PPM tool.

The ideal candidate is PMP-certified, technically savvy, adaptable, and thrives in a collaborative environment working with cross-functional teams. Experience with Salesforce, Acumatica, and n-tier architecture (including mobile applications) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end SDLC of software and systems projects, from initiation through successful market delivery.
• Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, product managers, developers, QA engineers, UX designers, and DevOps.
• Own and manage the project portfolio using Asana, driving planning, execution, risk mitigation, and reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison among cross-functional teams, driving alignment and stakeholder consensus.
• Develop, manage, and communicate detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and status updates.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the ERP transition from SAP to Acumatica, coordinating stakeholders and technical teams.
• Assist team members beyond the traditional PM scope when needed, ensuring smooth delivery and team success.
• Create and manage user stories, sprint planning, and backlogs in Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Ensure DevOps best practices are incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote process improvements and operational excellence across teams.

Required Qualifications

• PMP Certification is mandatory.
• 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with a focus on software development and systems integration.
• Strong experience managing .NET development projects and Microsoft-based architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps-oriented environments and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency using Asana as a PPM tool (or comparable).
• Experience managing teams across all areas of the SDLC: Product Management, Architecture, UX, Development, QA, and DevOps.
• Proven success delivering products to market, including cross-platform mobile apps.
• Experience working with n-tier architectures (front-end, API, database).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce integrations or customizations.
• Familiarity with Acumatica ERP or ERP migration projects (SAP to Acumatica preferred).
• Experience in backlog management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable stepping outside of traditional PM duties to ensure project and team success.
