Job Description

Apex is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with strong consultative skills to lead within our US & Canada practice in the Solutions Delivery Organization. This role offers an opportunity to join a world-class organization, apply project management methodologies, and provide leadership in implementing SAP ERP solutions for our clients. Candidates should have a passion for helping clients achieve their organizational goals, be highly motivated, self-directed, comfortable in a rapidly changing environment, and embrace ambiguity. The role combines project management, business analysis, change management, process engineering, and team leadership, requiring strategic and tactical engagement.

Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day project activities, coordinate and facilitate meetings, distribute minutes, maintain action-item lists, support decision-making, actively solve problems, escalate issues, and proactively manage project risks, budgets, and invoices.
2. Provide weekly project status updates.

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP experience
• MBA or graduate degree preferred
• Recent project management experience in a team-based professional services environment
• Experience supporting or implementing SAP modules, with preference for SAP S/4HANA
• Experience managing all phases of implementation: Discovery, Design, Testing, Go Live
• Experience with global, cross-functional virtual teams
• Proven track record with at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations
• Strong analytical, data, process redesign, problem-solving, and workflow skills
• Industry experience in Energy, Food & Beverage, Distribution, Manufacturing, etc., preferred
• PMP or other project management certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing and building relationships with clients and executives
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize using work plans and project management tools
• High level of professionalism and self-awareness in communication
• Willingness and ability to travel weekly
• Willing to work extended hours as necessary
