Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Information Systems Project Manager to oversee deployment initiatives on-site. You will manage cost, schedule, and performance, coordinating with the PMO and multiple teams to keep projects on track and aligned with customer expectations.

Candidates should have advanced degrees with relevant experience and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Proficiency in MS Office, TRIO, and ServiceNow is preferred; we offer flexible work arrangements

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3–6 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor’s with 5–8 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain a US Government Top Secret clearance and access to Special Program as a condition of continued employment
• Experience leading multiple project assignments
• Experience with project management tools and presenting project data to stakeholders
• Experience working with an integrated team including program manager, functional managers, and customers
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, MS Project), TRIO, and ServiceNow

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment project operations and liaise between PMO and project teams
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance of tasks and projects
• Review project budgets, schedules, and status reports
• Develop resolutions to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals
• Monitor progress and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
• Gather requirements across teams to support program SOW
• Develop spend plans and track actuals vs. plan
• Communicate with customers and resources to support IT services delivery
• Prepare and deliver status reports and executive briefings
• Present project status including cost and funding and risks
• Lead team meetings and coordinate cross-functional collaboration
• Support license lifecycle management and engineering tools demand
• Adapt quickly in changing environments
• Learn new processes and technical information quickly
