Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of internal Information Systems and tools. You will drive build vs buy decisions, integrate with ERP/PLM/MES, and align with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance.

You will shape the product lineup, define requirements, and establish KPIs to measure impact. The role is hybrid in San Jose, CA, with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Product Management shipping internal tools, enterprise software, or business systems.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or deep-tech hardware manufacturing.
• Proven build vs buy evaluations, implementing commercial SaaS platforms, and integrating them with custom software via APIs.
• Strong technical fluency to engage with software engineers, DB architects, and IT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and 12-18 month roadmap for Information Systems and internal tools.
• Drive build vs buy decisions by balancing business needs, constraints, and UX goals; mix ERP/PLM/MES with custom solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Mission Operations to identify pain points and deliver high-ROI solutions.
• Translate complex requirements into product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for internal software development.
• Coordinate with IS engineers, analysts, and IT for agile delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Establish KPIs to measure adoption and efficiency and improve systems based on data.
• Coordinate system integrations to ensure smooth data flows and unified enterprise architecture.
