University of South Carolina is seeking a Senior Information Resources Consultant to provide leadership for IT resources within the Division of Law Enforcement and Safety. The role ensures continuous uptime for critical servers and equipment in a 24/7/365 environment, and oversees installation, maintenance and repair of diverse IT infrastructure.

The position manages records systems and mobile data networks, requiring basic knowledge of computer systems, networks and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computer systems, network supports and Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities

• Senior Information Resources Consultant for the Division of Law Enforcement and Safety.
• Ensure uptime of all computer systems in the Division's 24/7/365 server room and Communications Center.
• Install, maintain and repair Division IT infrastructure including servers, switches, firewalls, SSL VPN, IDP, RSA Secure ID, DataMaxx NCIC clients, Desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Maintain the Division's Records Management Systems and mobile data network.
